I am committed to providing you with the same standard of ethics, confidentiality, and quality of care as in person-services.

To help you make the most of your sessions, I adapt all of my therapeutic interventions and tools to fit the online format and can use handy digital features like whiteboards on Zoom to increase immersion and facilitate the implementation of some interventions.

With the aim of offering you optimal support and ensuring a seamless coordination of your care, I am committed to collaborating (with your consent) with other professionals in your healthcare network, such as your general practitioner, psychiatrist, dietitian, etc

Benefits of Online Therapy:

  • Accessibility for all, without constraints of travel, material limitations, or health difficulties (lack of transportation, busy schedules, chronic pain, agoraphobia, etc.)

  • Increased flexibility in scheduling, tailored to your routine.

  • Continuity of care ensured: schedule your sessions according to your needs, even during vacations, travels, or after relocating.

  • Wider choice of professionals: You have access to a large number of highly qualified and specialized professionals, regardless of your location, without being limited by local healthcare services.

  • Solution for expatriates looking for a specialist who speaks their language in their host country.

  • Guaranteed anonymity and destigmatization: For some individuals, seeking mental health support can carry stigma among their community. Online consultation can reduce the stigma associated with traditional therapy and encourage more people to seek help.

Limitations of Online Therapy :

  • Confidentiality: If you don't have a quiet space to participate in your session without interruptions from those around you, your concentration and confidentiality may be affected, as well as the depth of communication between you and the therapist..

  • Technology: If you don't have a computer or smartphone and if your internet connection is slow, you may encounter technical issues that disrupt the smooth progress of the session and lead to frustration.

  • Complexity of the difficulties : Certain severe or complex mental health issues may require in-person interaction for a thorough evaluation and adequate support.

The decision between online therapy and in-person sessions should be made considering the specific needs of each individual.
